1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Wordly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Wordly is an AI-powered English language preparation platform that provides practice tests, mock exams, vocabulary training, writing evaluation, and personalized study recommendations. Wordly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any official IELTS testing organization (British Council, IDP, or Cambridge Assessment).
3. User Accounts
To use Wordly, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create through Wordly (writing responses, speech recordings, notes). By using the Service, you grant Wordly a non-exclusive license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing AI evaluation and learning recommendations.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or access source code
- Share your account credentials with others
- Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Abuse, harass, or threaten others through the Service
6. AI-Generated Content
Wordly uses third-party AI services (currently Groq) to generate practice questions and evaluate responses. AI-generated feedback is provided "as is" and may contain errors. Wordly does not guarantee the accuracy of any band score predictions.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion, all associated data (test results, mistakes, recordings, chat history) is permanently removed. Wordly reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Disclaimer
Wordly is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service. Wordly is a study tool and does not guarantee any particular outcome on actual English proficiency examinations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wordly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
